The Alloy of Law

The Allow of Law builds up well with its characters and the storyline, which is predictable in a good way because of the immensely engaging prequels of this book 4 from the Mistborn series. It is masterfully written by Brandon Sanderson, who has done a great job in producing a novel and a series of such magnitude and class. Not to forget the contribution of Michael Kramer as the narrator, who made this audio book a very lively experience for the book lovers.

Mistborn has been the best-selling novel series for quite some time. The Mistborn series came right after his earlier successful novel, The Way of Kings. So he had the mind and experience to come up with yet another successful series, which he actually did.

Scadrial is just on the edge of modernity, which was actually after some 300 years post the Mistborn trilogy events. Things were different and highly advanced with railroads, electric lighting and the homes of many wealthy people. Then, there were also those eye-catching steel-built skyscrapers to be seen. Vin, Kelsier, Elend, Spook and Sazed etc. are all part of the history now or may be of some religion as well.

Despite having a modern and technologically advanced world, there will still, traces to be seen of Feruchemy and Allomancy etc.  In the frontier Lands of Roughs, there was a rare twin-born by the name of Waxillium Ladrian, who had the Allomancy powers to push metals and employ Feruchemy for the sake of becoming heavier of lighter at own will.

Shadow of Self and The Bands of Mourning novels are also produced by the author, Brandon Sanderson. These recommended novels are the chapters from the Mistborn novel series by the writer.
