What a wonderful book! This is much more complicated than the description leads me to believe. The story is told from the perspective of four different characters, each with seemingly unrelated stories. However, as the story progresses, the themes gradually begin to intertwine and the reader gets a better understanding of all the mysteries of this world. The characters themselves are also superbly constructed. I think my favorite is actually Jovis, who I don’t think the description even mentions. Rounding out greatness is the narrator, who is easy to listen to, and quite capable. This is definitely worth a listen.
