The story is more Bond-like than most of the others in the series, and the result is a bit: the best books in the series are the ones that forge their own unique identities. So maybe not the best intro for new readers, but one that Helm fans won’t want to miss.

Really enjoyed the series, but the word rape has changed a lot in meaning since then, any way it can be replaced by something that is appropriate for our times, such as devastated. I have read all of Matt Helm’s series. But with frequent migrations, I lost all my copies. I’m starting to collect them again
