For the most part, a well-edited, well-written story has kept me hooked over the years. I wish it had been longer, but I’m definitely looking for more. Let’s continue the story!

Enjoyed the book and it was fast paced. Good story and lively action. The only distracting thing that I see a lot is that it seems that the enemy is always ahead of them in any action the good people take. I know you have to continue the story but how the bad guys get to where the good guys are going before they start moving. In battle, you are wary of enemy movement and plan to be ready and carry some heavy guns. This story takes place in the future that you would think would carry weapons with far more firepower than what we currently have on earth. With the knowledge of the power these aliens have at their disposal, you would think that the AI would also give them much more in terms of weapon technology, so they would set up a defense. suitable to cover your light force. Small item I know but I see it in many books nowadays. I have planned the missions and yes, things will happen but planning and planning more than before will save many lives when things go south (like in other situations). in fact, Blackhawk being taken down, rescuing Iranian hostages, etc.). I think I will really enjoy the rest of the series.

This is a very good start to what promises to be an excellent series. With great characters and writing. Looking forward to book 2.
