Be prepared for lots of tears and some funny moments. Well written, set in yorkshire, if you’re from Yorkshire listen for clues which town. Love the way the author tackles current issues in Asian families, but stays up to date and not stereotypical. You will want to know where the characters end up and what happens next, finish this book very quickly.

I absolutely love this book. It deals with a lot of important issues. As a white British man, I really enjoyed reading a story about a modern British Muslim family, with strong characters in each generation. I recommend the book to anyone reading and will definitely read the author’s next novel.
