The narrator excellently expressed the characters and their emotions. The plot was really well written. I really like that even though Sam is the main character, the supporting characters all have their own stories. My favorite part is probably, when Dam realizes where James hid the book, where he feels safe.

I really appreciate this book. I really do. The characters are easy to understand, sometimes make us angry, but that’s who we are right. I love how even though this book has a lot of fantasy elements, it never seems to have a plot. It is completely controlled by the character. 10/10 I would highly recommend this story.
