The Girl Who Takes An Eye For An Eye / Millennium Series, Book 5, Audiobook Online By: David Lagercrantz
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series continues in this “grasping” novel (USA Today) as brilliant hacker Lisbeth Salander teams up with journalist Mikael Blomkvist to uncover secrets. Secret her childhood and revenge. Also known as Millennium series.
Lisbeth Salander—the obstinate outsider who seeks justice for herself and others—seizes the opportunity to unearth her mysterious past once and for all. And she won’t let anything stop her—not the Muslims she angers by rescuing a young woman from their tyranny; not the leader of the prison gang who sentenced her to death; not the deadly reach of her long-lost twin, Camilla; and not those who would do anything to bury the knowledge of a sinister pseudoscience experiment known only as the Registry. Once again, Lisbeth Salander and Mikael Blomkvist are at the heart of a thrillingly slanted novel about some of the world’s most insidious issues.
Look for the newest book in the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series, The Girl in the Eagle’s Talons, coming soon.
Just finished reading “The Girl Who Takes An Eye for An Eye” and as usual, was not disappointed. I have read all the books by Lisbeth Salander. Hopefully there will be another one. Even though she’s a hacker, I see her as a Robin Hood hacker who uses her skills in a positive way. The plot of the twins in this book is fascinating. David Lagercrantz writes well and Simon Vance tells the story. Love this book.
No one can replace Stieg Larsson’s writing style and creativity. Lisbeth’s character might not have appeared in as many books if he were alive, but she certainly wouldn’t need to rely on twists, turns, and leaps of faith that are unrelated. as Lagercrantz writes. Just not as clean or interesting as the original books.
