I woke up in a strange place surrounded by strange people who hated me. They’re in the middle of a war, and I feel like I’m on the wrong side of it. If that wasn’t enough of a really bad day, I now have wings and a weird animal to learn about because it turns out I don’t have any damn potential.

If I want to live, I must prove that I am not the spy I am accused of. Then I needed to figure out a f–k way to get home before everything fell apart. Too bad my animal has no interest in working with me unless it involves the two hot bastards at the head of this rebellious group.

I’m alone in a place I’ve never heard of, with threats I don’t know how to defeat. And luckily for me, I might as well have a live roast chicken inside of me for all the help of my newly discovered lion.

Very interesting story and AMAZING narration. The story is unique and I enjoyed it very much. The main girl is stubborn and can swear like a sailor, which makes for some fun and exciting parts. There is also some romance and adventure. It’s great that I listened to the audiobook in one go. Just be aware that this has a cliff. I’m excited to read the next book and will also listen to it when the audiobook becomes available.

I really liked the book. I have really long boring trips. If a book doesn’t capture my interest, I’m out of there. I was interested from the very beginning. This book had some romantic moments. The author seems to be hinting at a love triangle being set up for her second book in the series. I don’t like books about reverse harem, because in the end I just think the characters are stupid to put up with it. The heroine seems to know what she wants and so does her Griffin, which can make love very complicated. Interested in what the next book brings.
