However, Ethan discovers that Pilcher’s methods are ruthless and that he has been manipulating the town’s residents for his own agenda.

In The Last Town, Ethan becomes the sheriff of Wayward Pines and takes on the responsibility of protecting its inhabitants from both internal and external threats. The Abbies have breached the fence, posing a significant danger to everyone inside. As chaos ensues, Ethan must rally the remaining townspeople to defend themselves against the Abbies while also uncovering Pilcher’s ultimate plan.

Throughout the book, Ethan faces numerous challenges and sacrifices as he fights for survival and attempts to bring justice to Wayward Pines. The Last Town is filled with intense action, suspense, and unexpected twists that keep readers on the edge of their seats until the very end.

I like the way the story was told. In a different world, but still understandable. I liked the relationships wives/husbands. It’s believable that society slowly becomes troubled by climate!

In my humble opinion, I feel compelled to share with you that all the three books of the trigoly are awesome and outstanding. I remember perfectly well a friend of mine telling me everything about the plot and how he managed to convince me to read these books. And I’m highly thankful for that! To sum up, if you’re a fan of Twilight Zone type stories as I am, you’ll probably enjoy Wayward Pines trilogy.
