Sometimes the difference between a love story and a horror story is in the ending…
While Jude vie for power at the Elfhame Court against the evil Prince Cardan, her sister Taryn begins to fall in love with the rogue Locke.
Half apologetic and half explained, it turns out Taryn has some secrets of her own to reveal.
The Lost Sisters is the electronic novel companion to the New York Times bestselling novel The Cruel Prince by master writer Holly Black.
This is absolutely beautiful to listen to too. The show was amazing. The way it is written, is also unbelievable. But it doesn’t make me like or even agree with Taryn at all. I still hate her. I still hate Locke. All of this has made me attracted to The Wicked King. But overall I would recommend it if you like The Cruel Prince.
I love that we got to read Taryns POV because of many of Locke’s antics but honestly, I hate her even more after this story. She is selfish and cruel and I worry that she will be mean like many fairies because she did evil things just to get Locke’s interest. I know Jude can be reckless and selfish but she always thought she was doing what she needed to protect her sister and trying to stand up against the bullies when Taryn could take on some do it and not allow Jude to take responsibility. what she should have been done. I worry because I don’t realize that Taryn is more or less motivating Locke to want to get married, and I fear that she won’t like the consequences of being with him.
