Solid story, excellent pacing, chemistry and narration. This novel has the right mix of high stakes with character building and sexy timing. I enjoyed this author’s work and this novel was no exception. Madeleine Maby is, as always, entertaining and performing in a way that evokes emotion.

I love this storyteller! She can perfectly tune her voice for both male and female parts. The story is one of my favorites and this is delightful in sound!

Love this novel! Normally, I’d rather read full-length novels but I was looking for a short story and there was something about the introduction of this novel that caught my attention. Also, this was part of 1001 Nights and I jumped on board. This is the best decision I made for what I needed. Correct! A lot of things made this novel worthwhile. Both Ripley and Caterina have more depth than I expected for a novel.
