I love this story. Love the variety of characters and representation of the LGBTQ+ community and the struggle and acceptance of gender identity. The story moves quickly and seems a bit rushed at times but overall it’s very enjoyable. If and when the next book is published, I will definitely pick up a copy, definitely recommend.
I’ve always been the type to love a good fantasy story but oh my gosh, this one turned out to be one of my favorites. Between the love story, the fantasy plot, the inclusion of different characters, the emotion in the reader’s voice, it’s great. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a not so typical pirate story but in the best way.
