A fascinating collection of short stories that draw on smoking or nicotine as a connection. The characters are well drawn. A vaping tale that brings a contemporary feel to the three collections.

There are some great stories in this collection. Others are mehs, and a few have the much-anticipated “Orange Man Bad” teases that of course should make it into any contemporary anthology. The nicotine theme is heavy in some stories and light in others. Oddly enough, Akashic casts a spell on publishing authors who have been ignored by the mainstream or have rebelled against major publishers, but many of the authors in this anthology have sold a billion billion books. through major publishers or home entertainment names. Including many undiscovered writers would be a plus for this anthology.
