Ox may have been the living definition of the strong and silent type, but Maddie knew for a fact that beneath that scowling, evil face was an equally big heart. He deserves to be loved and loved, and she is just the girl who helps him.
After all, she’s basically a human love detector. She has seen all her friend’s true love come from a mile away. But Maddie has a secret – a secret that will ruin her reputation as the fun, carefree flirt that everyone knows and loves. This cupid has lost her heart, and she’s not sure if she trusts enough to take the risk again. Even for a silent giant with a heart of gold.
Ox has never asked for Maddie’s help and he certainly doesn’t want that. He keeps his distance for a reason. Or, at least, he did…until Maddie showed up. The little fairy with a bright smile won’t refuse the answer when it comes to being his friend, and now, it looks like she’s determined to find him a girlfriend, too.
These are interesting stories filled with happy endings. The book is reasonable and well developed. The characters are mature and cute at the same time. Absolutely enjoyed reading this book. Liked both main characters. Totally opposite but a really great match. Definitely recommend this book.
I love Ox! He and M are so cute together. I love getting a peek inside that head of his. Their growing understanding of each other and their insecurities was well taken.
I won’t say much about this book. I think it is good. I was curious and wanted to read this book more than I wanted to read the other two books in the series. I think both Ox and Maddie are good for each other. I wished his old friends who were at his old school could see what he looks like now since he was fat… I’m glad no one bullied him at his new school so he made sure no one did….
