I love every book I’ve read and the movie I’ve seen about Nicholas Sparks, “The Notebook” is my favorite, hard to pass up as I’m a retired old woman with a whole family have Alzheimer’s disease. took longer to engage me than other books. But wisely, I stuck with it. This story is funny, sad, emotional and heartbreaking. And while it doesn’t look like a great mystery book, I’ve seen some things happen, all of them are still very interesting parts of the book. With psychiatry and mental health covered in the book, as someone with bipolar disorder, I think Sparks has done a great job of covering aspects of PTSD and mental disorders. another god and thank him for it. Not downplayed or thought to affect very little. Very interesting reading!
