The author in this chapter creates a highly stunning world that revolves around black magic and the dangers existing around. Zelie Adebola, the prime character, recalls the time when the Orisha’s soil hummed with magic. It was the time when the Tigers beckoned waves, Burners ignited flames and the mother of Zelie Reaper called in forth souls.
