The Saint In Europe The Saint Book 29 – Audiobook Online
The Saint In Europe – The Saint, Book 29, Audiobook Online By: Leslie Charteris
Simon Templar never went anywhere with the intention of getting into trouble, but trouble seemed to follow him.
In seven adventures around Europe, he discovers corpses, missing jewelry, kidnappers, and fraudsters. He’s meant to go on vacation – but when the going gets tough, he’ll make sure justice is served.
Leslie Charteris was born in Singapore and moved to England in 1919. He left Cambridge University early when his first novel was accepted for publication. He wrote novels about the saint during his lifetime, becoming one of the most prolific and popular authors of the 20th century.
The compilation of these stories is absolutely fun! It was interesting to read how Simon was able, again and again, to get himself and others out of trouble. I like the Roger Moore Saint series so I thought I would try reading the books, the short stories. It’s a fun, quick and predictable read so it’s a great evening to read.
I first read this book in 1967. It contains the story of my favorite Saint: The Golden Journey, which is one of the books that has led me into life including hiking. I have read and re-read it many times and still keep my original. As you can imagine the 50 year old paperback book is a bit old, so I decided to take this as an eBook that will never get old.
