The Siege of Earth – Audiobook Online

“The Siege of Earth” is the seventh book in “The Ember War” series by Richard Fox, narrated by Luke Daniels. The novel follows the ongoing war between humanity and the alien Xaros, as they attempt to conquer the galaxy and destroy all of humanity. In “The Siege of Earth,” the alien invaders have reached Earth and launched a devastating attack on the planet, leaving humans struggling to survive against overwhelming odds. Amidst the chaos, a small elite force of soldiers and special operatives must work together to protect the remaining civilians and find a way to stop the Xaros from wiping out all intelligent life in the universe. As the battles rage on, the fate of Earth and the survival of humanity hang in the balance. Can the humans band together and defeat the Xaros, or will they be destroyed by the seemingly invincible alien race? Fox’s writing is full of action-packed scenes, intense space battles, and complex characters. Daniels’ narration brings the story to life with his skillful delivery and ability to give each character a unique voice. “The Siege of Earth” is a thrilling addition to “The Ember War” series, and a must-listen for fans of military science fiction.

Only one remnant of humanity survived the first invasion of Xaros. Now, Xaros returns to deal the final blow to Earth and her guardians.

A moon carrying a fleet of Xaros drones unleashes its deadly cargo across the solar system. Fort Mars stands between the enemy and the unprotected Earth. While the battle rages on the red planet, Breitenfeld must go on a desperate mission to Pluto to cut off enemy reinforcements.

Earth stands on the brink of destruction, and humanity needs every hero they can find to repel the wave of destruction.

The Ember War enters its final phase in the Siege of Earth.

So far, I’ve enjoyed all the books in this series and can’t wait to start the next one, the performance is great too.

It’s hard to breathe while reading this epic battle epic. Not for the faint of heart, as both sides die like flies. Not a standalone book, it needs the full support of the previous books in the series.

The Burning Flame continues to be one of my favorite sci-fi movies. The series contains some traditional and new sci-fi principles, but turns them into something really interesting and unique. I liked how the story unfolded on so many levels and spent a lot of time on character development. Ultimately, non-linear storytelling is what I aspire to in this genre and appreciate, not everything has to be a step up to a conclusion.
