The Son of Neptune: The Heroes of Olympus, Book 2 – Audiobook Online

“The Son of Neptune” is the second book in Rick Riordan’s “The Heroes of Olympus” series. The novel follows the journey of Percy Jackson, a demigod who has lost his memory and finds himself in the Roman Camp Jupiter. Percy discovers that he is the son of Neptune, the Roman counterpart of Poseidon, and he must retrieve a stolen artifact to prevent a war between the Greek and Roman demigods. Percy is joined by two new allies, Hazel and Frank. Hazel is a daughter of Pluto, the Roman counterpart of Hades, who is trying to overcome a tragic past and learn to control her powers. Frank is a son of Mars, the Roman counterpart of Ares, who is struggling to find his place in the world and prove himself as a warrior.

Together, the three heroes embark on a dangerous quest to Alaska to find the stolen artifact, facing numerous obstacles and enemies along the way. They also uncover a sinister plot by the goddess Gaea, who seeks to destroy the gods and rule the world. “The Son of Neptune” is a thrilling adventure full of action, humor, and mythology. It explores themes of identity, friendship, and courage as the heroes face their fears and overcome challenges. The audiobook, narrated by Joshua Swanson, brings the story to life with great energy and emotion.

Penguin presents this downloadable, non-synopsis audiobook edition of the second title in this number one bestselling spin-off series from Percy Jackson creator Rick Riordan. This crazy messy world of gods and monsters is Percy Jackson’s reality, which is pretty bad for him. Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon, the Sea God, awoke from a very deep sleep and was confronted by two snake-haired women who refused to die.

But they were the least of his problems. Because Percy finds himself in a camp for half-bloods, where there aren’t any bells for him. There was only one name he remembered from his past. Annabeth. Only one thing was certain – Percy’s search was not over. He and the demigods Frank and Hazel face the most important task: The Prophecy of the Seven. If they fail, it’s not just their camp at risk. Percy’s old life, the gods and the entire world could be destroyed…

This book is great for combining Greek and Roman mythological characters, it’s also nice to see how Percy finds his way to the Roman camp and enjoys the journey he has along the way with a quest service!

I like the book, it’s very good but the author’s voice is a bit different. I got used to his voice after a while. readers keep mispronouncing some words like Gaia. his voice for girls, Tyson and Don the fawn are also really annoying. overall a good job by Joshua Swanson and an excellent book by rick Riordan.
