Stand-In is amazing! Tess is the main character who stumbles across a guy she helped out months ago but never knew his name. He asks her to pretend to be his girlfriend on vacation. There had been a chemical reaction between them months ago, so Tess readily agreed. From there, the reader can see the family members moving. Witty conversations. Sexual tension. Dramatic! An interesting rom com around I simply can’t put down. I love when a story surprises me. There were turning points that I didn’t expect and didn’t see them coming. The author also changed my perspective on male characters. This speaks to the author’s talent in bringing the reader completely into the plot. I love the pop art cover for this book, it really grabs the reader’s attention. I can’t wait to see what the author has in store for us. I will definitely keep an eye on her

This story has developed characters so you can see everyone has flaws. Great and funny joke. The narrator is excellent.

Despite a few upsets due to the main character, this book is definitely one of my 5 all-time favorites in the romance section. It’s LOL fun, full of drama and big twists that you wouldn’t have guessed!

The narrator did a great job with the voice and the characters.
This book is fun and humorous.
It kept me guessing for a long time and also had a few surprises.
