Something’s gone wrong at the roadside Sun Down Motel for a very long time, and Carly Kirk is set to find out why in this chilling new novel from best-selling and award-winning author The Broken Girls.

Upstate New York, 1982. Viv Delaney wanted to move to New York City, and to cover expenses, she took a job as a night shift worker at the Sun Down Motel in Fell, New York. But there’s something wrong with the motel, something haunting and terrifying.

Upstate New York, 2017. Carly Kirk can never forget the story of her aunt Viv, who mysteriously disappeared from Sun Down before she was even born. She decides to move to Fell and visit the motel, where she quickly learns that nothing has changed since 1982. And she quickly finds herself trapped in the same mysteries as her aunt.

This story has everything. I couldn’t put it down and was so sad it was coming to an end. I figured the ending was about 3/4. Usually I lose interest at that point and it’s very difficult to complete. But the writing creates a nostalgic mood and takes you to different twists and turns, it’s so enjoyable not to be able to continue. If you like nostalgic ghost stories with a murder mystery element, you’ll love this!

A good ghost story with many twists and turns. It would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys good haunts.
