This is my first time reading a book by Brad Taylor. Several people have recommended his books to me. I thought I would use this short story as a template for his writing. Taylor is a retired Delta Force Officer who writes military thrillers. This is book #10.5 in the Pike Logan Series.
This short story takes place before the task force was formed and featured Mossad agents. It takes place in 1998. Team Samson, Aaron Bergman and Daniel, are sent to Argentina on an “unauthorized” mission to assassinate a Nazi killer from Auschwitz. A new team member has been assigned, Shoshana, a disgraced agent. Shoshana discovers a Nazi website interwoven with Iran planning an attack on Israel. To intervene, Aaron and Daniel will need to trust Shoshana. Shoshana represents loyalty, endurance, and skill.
The story is well written and action packed. It’s a short story so the pace is fast. Erik Signer tells the story very well. The singer is a stage actor and audiobook narrator.
