The Yes Factor by Erin Spencer and Emma Sable is a self-help book that aims to guide readers on how to cultivate a positive mindset and develop the ability to say “yes” to opportunities and experiences. The book explores the concept of the “yes factor” as a mindset shift that can lead to personal growth, increased happiness, and success in various aspects of life.
As she approaches 40, divorced single mother Bex is so busy working as a driver that her teenage daughter no longer bothers to date.
Her best friend Liv, who is married to a supposedly perfect man, sneaks in from London on a mission to get Bex out of her own bed and into someone else’s. Liv sends Bex into a week-long spiral of dates, awkward kisses and missed relationships.
What could go wrong when Bex agrees to Liv’s bold plan to say Yes to every possible suitor? And why is Liv so intent on fixing Bex’s love life or lack thereof?
What do you discover when all your no’s turn into yes’s?
The Yes factor cannot be ignored! It’s a wonderful story about friendship, lasting relationships, and striving for what’s best for each other. It’s so true to the wonderful friendships I have in my life. I want to buy a copy for all my friends! Liv and Bex are the friends and sisters you’ve always wanted. They stomp on each other, share lots of laughs, get into those silly fights that happen when someone knows you better than you know yourself, and they cry/hurt for each other. Life is full of twists and turns and the authors, Erin and Emma, captured it perfectly. I can’t wait to see what happens to Liv when she returns to England.
