As I said, it had been a few years since the first book for me, and this book doesn’t really give any character development support or reminders. I can understand that it is only 2 hours and needs to hurry up and not spend time reviewing previous books. With the break I had though, all the characters were pretty much exactly the same in this book until probably the last 3rd of the book when I finally pulled a few characters out of the group.

The narration was perfect, and I though Piper did a very good job of making the characters voices both different as well as childish. It really reminded me of watching the early harry potter movies, and her voices really worked to remind us that this is a children’s story, as well as about children.
