John MacDonald is given a chance this time to narrate Debt of Honor. He struggled throughout the narration and it was quite flat. Scott Brick in some earlier novels of the series has set the bar rather high.

Tom Clancy is seen in this novel plunging his fantastic hero Jack Ryan back into action. The book will offer the audience and the fans of A Jack Ryan Novel series nonstop action and adventure.

The audience will witness here a couple of unrelated occurrences apparently that triggers a chain of events. The consequences will be so high that it will shock the entire world. Jack Ryan is called out of his retirement immediately. He receives an order to join as the National Security Advisor to the president. Ryan must prepare the president to cope up with the challenges of the new world order. Jack also had the support of the CIA officers, Domingo Chavez and John Clark in it. However, things will not be easy this time for Jack Ryan and his team.

Debt of Honor is a quality novel with its plot and characters. The robotic performance by John in the audio format was not much appreciated by the listeners.
