204 Rosewood Lane (Audiobook Online) Cedar Cove, Book 2 – Categories: Romance

204 Rosewood Lane is the second book in the Cedar Cove series written by Debbie Macomber. The novel was published in 2002 and continues the story of the residents of Cedar Cove, a small town in Washington state.

The book revolves around several interconnected storylines, focusing on the lives and relationships of the characters living on Rosewood Lane. One of the main characters is Grace Sherman, a professional librarian who is dealing with her daughter Kelly’s unexpected pregnancy. Grace struggles with her own feelings about becoming a grandmother and tries to support Kelly as she makes difficult decisions about her future.

Another central character is Troy Davis, a single father who recently moved to Cedar Cove with his young daughter, Megan. Troy is trying to start over after a painful divorce and hopes to find love again. He becomes interested in Grace and they begin dating, but their relationship faces challenges as they both have unresolved issues from their pasts.

Meanwhile, Maryellen Sherman, Grace’s sister, is dealing with her own romantic troubles. She has been dating Jon Bowman, a local judge, but their relationship becomes strained when Jon’s ex-wife reenters the picture. Maryellen must decide if she can trust Jon and if their relationship can withstand the obstacles they face.

In addition to these storylines, other residents of Cedar Cove also have their own struggles and triumphs. The book explores themes of love, forgiveness, and second chances as the characters navigate their personal lives and relationships.

You’ll love the second installment in the Cedar Cove series, although not as much as the first, and I think that’s because I agree with other listeners that it’s a bit too much to keep track of it all. Still, I couldn’t help but be interested and attached to the people at Cedar Cove. I’m glad Dan’s disappearance has been resolved. The ending was a bit abrupt, I did wish there were a few more answers in 204 Rosewood Lane, but it wouldn’t stop me from moving on to Book 3 in the series. I love Debbie Macomber’s work and find that her books are a welcome change for me after I’ve heard heavier pieces, such as murder mysteries or stories. war. They always revolve around family, which I appreciate a lot.
