From the bestselling author of The German Midwoman, comes the heartbreaking story of a country on the brink of war, a woman who sets herself on fire and a world about to change forever.
I really liked this book. It started off slow and it took me a while to get in, but halfway through it started. The ending is good. Hard to imagine what it was like during the Second World War. Readers did a great job!
