Andre Iguodala is one of the most admired players in the NBA. And after the Warriors’ third NBA championship in the past four years, his play has never been stronger.

Outside of court, Iguodala has also earned respect – for his successful tech investments, his philanthropy, and increasingly for his contributions to the race conversation in America. On the driveway, about leadership, about pain, about achievement, about the shame of being given a role and the glory of taking it: This is a powerful memoir of life. Life and basketball reveal new depths for superstar athletes, while providing insight into the most pressing stories being told in American society today.

I really like this book. I really enjoy being here in the struggle not only as an athlete but as a black athlete growing from one level to another. Aside from some name pronunciation mistakes, the book provides great insight into the life of a professional basketball player.

This is a great story. Thanks Andre for the truth behind those coveted walls. Being rich doesn’t mean your work is always great, but the forces are using and abusing the bodies of players for their own benefit and for a much higher profit than you make. Okay.
More importantly, thanks for sharing a part of your life with us!

I enjoyed this book so much-Andre has an incredible perspective on life, and really what it takes to be an NBA star. After hearing this book, I can’t stop thinking about it, I feel like there are so many meaningful lessons from his life that can be applied to me and to my children. This book is not just an autobiography, it is an experience.
