Not my favorite

I really missed Emma Galvin (as Sophia) and Zachary Webber (as Derek). Both of their voices are so distinctive and I enjoy their narrations. The replacement narrators weren’t as good, especially the one for Derek. He was so monotone.

As far as the story goes, I thought it was one of the more boring books.

Excellent read. Just when you think Rose will make it back to the Shade with Caleb, Annora resurfaces and now the dam Sanctuary wants Mona back. What will happen to the Shade? Those dam black witches. They need their comeuppance NOW! Can’t wait for the next story. Will Rose get to keep her Caleb or will he succumb to the old Annora.

Review 3: A Shade of Vampire 11: A Chase of Prey audiobook by Marlee

I love this series but this one was definitely my least favorite so far. There was a whole lot more real world than supernatural world. It just didn’t have the same feel as the series has had so far. I did like it a lot. Just didn’t feel like the Shade series. It was a bit outlandish. I wanted to read about what was going on with more than just Rose and Caleb. Which is pretty hypocritical of me because before this book I was frustrated that there wasn’t MORE of Rose and Caleb. Always gotta have an excuse to complain! Good book though.
