An exciting return to the H2G2 Universe
Eoin Colfer is clearly not Douglas Adams. The writing style of this new book is not quite the same as that of Book 5. It can be said very clearly that Eoin has immersed himself in the original material and presents a very believable tribute to Douglas’s work. Adams. As Simon Jones reads it, it can almost be forgotten that the book was not written by Douglas himself.
Now to the book itself, we start with Almost No Harm; Earth is coming to an end again. And Author is about to make a new trip around the universe with many old favorites joining or appearing as guests.

Like the previous reviewer, my only complaint is that this book references the previous 5 books too often and in ways that don’t flow. I find myself often breaking the story with some unnecessary self-referencing. It’s a strange feeling to be both slightly annoyed because I’ve been jarred out of the flow, but still inexplicably recall the original.
Overall, I would say if you’re a fan of the Douglas Adams original series, you’ll love this final re-visit of the universe where 42 means it all. If you’re not familiar with Douglas Adams, what’s wrong with you? Audible has almost all of its works right here. Listen to A Guide to the Galaxy for Hitchhikers and then come back to this book.

Dear Eoin Colfer fans, that’s the group I watch for myself. This is not Artemis Fowl nor is it for a child audience. Don’t buy the wrong one for your child. On the other hand, if, like myself, you read Eoin Colfer because even though his books are listed for children, you find them witty, funny and entertaining, I think you’ll quite enjoy the book. this is a new book, but I still recommend listening to the original story first.
