Artemis by Andy Weir

The life of an ordinary man is impossible on the planet now because of all the social and financial issues that’s why Jazz Bashara becomes a criminal. Jazz’s main purpose is to make both ends meet for her and her family but as the problems go out of hand when she is forced to make tough decisions in life. Andy Weir slowly adds fiction and fantasy to a novel that appears to be a criminal’s tale in the first glance.

First, we think that the basic themes of the writer are not applied to this novel but them towards the middle we start observing the elements of The Martian and Randomize. For the first time in life Jazz finds an opportunity that might solve all of her problems in a single go. Unluckily the way again passes through the path of crime but she has no other choice as the profit is certain.

She jumps deeper into the underworld and faces conspiracy for the first time for which she was never ready. Life becomes riskier but the only way out is to delve deeper into the world of chaos and crime.

The novel is also loaded with sheer action something that really attracts the attention of the listeners these days. There are accidents, bullets shot and cracked helmets and destroyed cars all the way. The voice of Rosario Dawson really is a gripping one as well. There is no break in the intensity of the sound and the fluency is just excellent. The voice becomes corrosive in the killing scenes which gives you an extra chill and a feel of horror at different steps.
