Aggro is the story of Breeze, Chase, and Kai, three teenagers bound by grief over Violet’s death. Violet is Breeze’s best friend, the twin sister of Chases and in a relationship with Kai. This is the story of how the three of them deal with this tragic loss, not only as individuals but with each other. My heart felt like it was being constricted continuously. It’s just that CLJ and CG’s great writing is so vivid and the story is so engaging.

They set out on a desperate quest to find the answer. Three teenagers are plagued by survivor’s guilt, hurt, anger, and guilt. They are working to put the pieces together to find out what happened on the night of Violet’s violent death and the secrets she kept from everyone that led to her death. But will they be able to handle the truth when they receive it?

This amazing story takes place in a picturesque seaside island town. We got POVs from Breeze, Chase, and Kai and I love this because each is struggling in a different way to deal with what happened. The story told in their voices as they are going through different levels of emotions is touching and powerful. The three and their constant struggle with wondering who might have committed this crime and possibly even wondering about each other at times.
