Penelope Ruiz-Kar is the mother, wife, and breadwinner of the house. She was hardly managing to keep things together. Jenny Sweet, her dearest friend on the other hand was sailing smoothly through her life. The passionate marriage of Jenny, a beautiful house, and the best polite child was in strong contrast to the counterpart. On the other side, it was all about an underemployed husband of Penelope and also the unruly brood.

A shocking discovery unravels and it was revealed that the life of Jenny was far away from being perfect. Penelope was determined to deal with all the issues that were in her relationship. So, Penelope and her husband Sanjay agreed to a radical proposal. They decided to write a list of changes that they would like to have in each other’s life. They decided to commit to it and would do it with full honesty.

Camille Pagan delivered quite a poignant novel here. It beautifully explores the different extremes of marriage, friendship, and a lot more. The characters in the novel are all relatable who play their role in quite a realistic plot.
