Will Damron narrates the most anticipated hero ever i.e the Dark Knight who protects Gotham as his home. Being a human he seems to be the weakest among the heroes of the Justice League but he is the only one who truly stands for justice and keeps the whole team joined. On a given day the Batman gives his one hundred percent and shows that he is always with the solution to every problem.

Though he is not gifted with raw strength like superman and cannot shape objects like Green Lantern he can outclass any of the heroes. It was not fate that chose Batman rather he chose his fate by acting like a bat. From the inside, the man is a true hero but from the outside, he has an appearance to keep which lands him in Arkham Asylum for a small punishment of his crime.

There he finds that Gotham city is soon going down because of the attack of the Nightwalkers. Marie Lu writes this one passionately and it seems the author has also been a fan of Batman since childhood. Legend and Prodigy never had so much heart involved in them. Every word of this novel shows the joy which was there in the heart of the author during the whole composition. Nightwalker concept is not new but this breed had an innovative touch in it.

Batman knows like always that he cannot beat down the enemy in a physical fight so he searches for its weakness after which he can pounce on the prey at the right time. Every step is calculated and every mission is planned perfectly by the Dark Knight who is showing no mercy to the Nightwalkers.
