This time, he comes with a memoir that inspires the generation that what a wonderful, creative, and imaginative writer he was. He blessed his audience with a range of novels that are still read and listened to in audio format with a lot of enthusiasm.
The Winter of Our Discontent is regarded as his best novel and it also helped him bag the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1962. Apart from this, The Grapes of Wrath is another powerful novel from John Steinbeck which earned the status of a classic in English Literature and rated as one of his finest works in fiction.
The Log from the Sea of Cortez is narrated by Joe Barrett. His performance was magnificent and the audience had all praise and love for the kind of passion and enthusiasm he puts into this book with his soulful voice.
The book is about an exciting endeavor of John Steinbeck. It tells a day to day account of his trip directed towards the Gulf of California. He was accompanied by Ed Ricketts on that trip who was a biologist. They were drawn from the much longer Sea of Cortex on that trip. The book is a fantastic combination of philosophy, science, and some high spirited adventure. The experiences of John are refreshing and enjoyable for the audience.
The Log from the Sea of Cortez is an excellent book about the adventure and experiences of John Steinbeck on his sea voyage along with a biologist named Ed Ricketts. It has many elements of science and philosophy which you will thoroughly enjoy.
