With Lieutenant Lucas Davenport of Minneapolis, these thrillers are fascinating not to be missed. In Eyes of Prey, a depressed and unfocused Davenport takes on a macabre case, tracking down a serial killer who shuts his victims’ eyes after he kills them.

In this we find a much younger Lucas which is one of the things I like about the Prey series… the author allows his characters to grow and age as each book is released . Here we find a Lucas who is establishing himself as a rather violent and pointless character who doesn’t break the rules a bit. We also found a slightly promiscuous Lucas.
