Free Audiobook Online – To Sir Phillip with Love – Bridgertons Book 5 By Julia Quinn

From New York Times, the bestselling author comes the romance novel – To Sir Phillip, with Love – set in the beloved Regency world that we have all come to know and love. This historical fiction romance is about Sir Phillip who proposes to Eloise Bridgerton. Thinking of her as nothing more than a spinster, assuming she would be desperate for a proposal. He knew this from the correspondence with his dead wife’s distant cousin, but he couldn’t be more wrong. This is the fifth novel in the series. Romancing Mister Bridgerton is the one that precedes it. If you want more regarding the series, check out When He Was Wicked.

The narration of this novel has been performed by Rosalyn Landor. She is quite reliable when it comes to this series. Her performance is consistent all over the board. Listening to this audiobook increases the experience of enjoyment by many folds compared to simply reading it.

When Phillip met Eloise, the woman on his doorstep was anything but quiet. When she finally stopped talking, all he could think of was to kiss her. Philip was unlike other gentlemen who were vying for Eloise’s hand in marriage. She couldn’t marry a man she had never met before. But then, she started thinking and wishing. Before she knew it, she was on her way to meet her man in the middle of the night. Could this imperfect man be the one for her?

This is one of the sad novels in the series. The storyline can get quite heavy at some points. The characters find that they have fallen in love after all the heartbreak and mourning. It is truly a match made in heaven but it comes with issues regardless.
