Ghost Sniper By Scott McEwen – Best Literature & Fiction Audiobook
Ghost Sniper is an elite sniper and war novel written by Scott McEwen and Thomas Koloniar. It is the fourth book in the Sniper Elite series which features a Special Operatives sniper Gil Shannon. In this novel, a secret band of elite warriors has left no choice but to support one side in the Mexican drug war. If you like the author and his books, you must also listen to Camp Valor. Also, you can enjoy another great book titled Eyes on Target by the same author.
Brian Hutchison is the narrator of this action-packed book. It is a rare audiobook when both the writing and the narration go hand-in-hand so well.
Gil Shannon is the navy master chief who loses contact with Bob Pope, the director of the American secret intelligence terrorist takedown program. He was the director’s most trusted operative. However, when a mission to eliminate a Swiss banker funding Muslim terrorists goes south, he is feared to be dead.
Events take a sharp turn, however, as an American politician and her convoy is killed in Mexico City by a deadly sniper. It is discovered that the assassination had been carried out by an ex-military gunman for hire. It is assumed that he was hired by the Mexican ruthless drug cartels.
As a result, Pope has to get to the bottom of this. He turns to Daniel Crosswhite, a retired Navy SEAL and the newest sniper elite hero, Vaught to take down the assassin before he causes further havoc.
It is one of the better espionage thrillers out there. The storyline is also filled with plenty of action. However, most wouldn’t agree that the author has taken the direction with the main character.
