During the same period, hundreds of British Fascists were also detained without trial with specific and detailed evidence that they were spying or working for Germany. These men and women were part of the lesser-known Fifth Column: traitors committed crimes including espionage, sabotage, communicating with enemy intelligence agents, and attempting to cause harm. discontent among the Allied armies. Four of these traitors were sentenced to death; two people were executed; most received long prison terms or were detained during the war.
In 2002 to 2017, revealed the truth about the Allied men and women who formed these spy rings.
