This is a wonderful book. Charles and Anna are becoming closer as a couple and the story is interesting and has some unexpected twists and turns as they try to uncover the bad guy. This is a great addition to a great series.

Anna has been a werewolf for 3 years and is married to Charles (who has been a werewolf much longer). Charles is the executioner for his father, Bran, the Marrok (leader of all werewolves in North America). Anna is an Omega werewolf (a rare werewolf type that can appease other werewolves) and has been through a lot (rape and abused by the old pack for 3 years). As the story begins, Charles and Anna have only been together for about a month but are starting to sync up as a couple (and Anna is recovering from her past).
