The irresistible journey is filled with discoveries, some of them about men Ronni knew were eighties in Fairfield Springs.

Ronni juggles her patients, a new boyfriend, and a factory filled with Samsonite factory emotions as she tries to draft a manuscript ahead of time. Then secrets began to emerge, some of which were direct. And they don’t stop.

Veronica works in a care home and is surrounded by some hilarious quirky characters. She trudges through life until her favorite resident, Violet, dies. Ronni is distraught until she discovers Violet has left her with a challenge of all kinds.

All the stories Violet shared with Ronnie were much more interesting to them and she wanted Ronnie to share her life with the world and she left her diaries and letters for her sake. She wanted Ronnie to publish her life story and had arranged everything for that to happen. And, if Ronnie does it within a year, she will inherit a fortune.
Thankfully, Ronnie loves Violet too much for this quest to focus solely on her money. She wants to find out the rest of the story, she wants to understand the woman who made her feel loved again because Ronnie’s life wasn’t all roses either.

As we swap between chapters now and then, we discover how Violet became a vivacious character in her later years, we discover how her life wasn’t always filled with voices. laughter and love, we discover how she made her way through the dark ages into the sunshine.
