Lethal White Audiobook By Robert Galbraith

Lethal White is the fourth book in the series featuring Cormoran Strike authored by Robert Galbraith aka J. K. Rowling. It is a mystery and crime fiction novel. If you want to read the next part, then check out Troubled Blood. However, if you’re unfamiliar with the series, then start with The Cuckoo’s Calling.

Robert Glenister is really good as the narrator of this book. He portrays Strike perfectly and his female voice isn’t bad either. He avoids the campy singsong tone that many male narrators employ to portray women. He can also do various accents as displayed in the audiobook, from London to Yorkshire.

The book once again follows our trusted pair of crime solvers in Cormoran Strike and his partner Robin Ellacott. It begins from where the last one left off – Robin’s marriage with Mathew Cunliffe. Strike tells Robin that he had been trying to contact her. However, Mathew had deleted his messages on Robin’s phone. Thus, it causes a row between the newlyweds.

One year later, Strike has grown his detective agency. He receives a visit from a troubled man named Billy Knight who had witnessed a horrifying crime in his childhood. Billy is in mental distress because of the event and cannot remember significant details about it. However, before Strike can ask any questions, Bill runs out of his office in a panic.

To solve the case, Robin and Strike team up as they hit the backstreets of London. They don’t know what awaits them. Maybe the issues will appear from the inside rather than the outside.

This is one of the best books in the series, especially because of the dynamic Bill Knight adds to the group. The duo of Strike and Robin was already amazing, but the author knows we want more of them.
