Maybe You Should Talk to Someone – Full Audiobook By Lori Gottlieb
A delightful book to select if one really wants to get a closer look in him. The good thing however is that the book is not written on a very serious note. One can find light humor on which he or she can laugh for a while and can see the lighter of things that really matter in the real world.
The narrator Brittany Pressley has also a big role in this regard that she keeps your spirit alive and narrates in the exact pattern in which Lori Gottlieb wanted it. Although everything that we listen or read is biographical but still the book appears to be more objective in approach instead of looking like a purely subjective thing.
Lori Gottlieb as a therapist presents herself as someone who tries to solve the issue of other people but does not always possess a cure. Thus she looks for it in order to help her patients. But ironically she too suffers a major setback because of which she had to go to a therapist named Wendell.
The problems of her patients and the questions that they asked made her so sick mentally that she wanted their answers from Wendell and their discussion really makes us entrusted in everything they talk about.
The book can be compared with Marry Him by the same author but the topic or the issue is a lot bigger this time. Also narrated in a quick pace the book does not consume a lot of your time but absorb you for that short interval in which you cannot think of anything else. Thus full of funny remarks and concrete facts it is a nice ride till the last page.
