Necromancer/ Spellmonger, Book 10 – Online Free Audiobook
Necromancer is the 10th science fiction book by author Terry Mancour.
Just as Baron Minalan the Spellmonger realizes that there is a slim chance of restoring his mentally broken wife, Alya (if he is willing to journey to the underground caves of Olum Seheri, the lair of Korbal the Necromancer). Things started to go awry: not only did Prince Tavard, his unloved lord, decide to make an official state visit to Sevendor for a pilgrimage to Everfire on Briga’s feast day, but a mysterious seam appears on his doorstep with an offer from the Sea Folk, ruler of Callidore: They want to buy snow ice. Its a whole mountain.
Between Alka Alon’s hostile factions and the contentious nobility of her kingdom, Minalan has conspiracies up to her pointy hat, but when the leading witch of the era runs into trouble. , he also has resources. The pilgrimage ended, it set off powerful actions in their courses, and even the gods chose to openly interfere in Minalan’s life.
Minalan realizes he has little choice but to consider an impossible quest into the heart of the enemy’s kingdom, to the cave of the dead. He wants to resolve many conflicts in the game. He must recover a Sea Folk artifact known as the Handmaid, and to do so, he will have to organize the most daring raid on the most terrible enemy in human history on Earth. Callidore! Who else but Minalan the Spellmonger has magical stones to challenge the Necromancer’s immortal powers!
Terry has managed to put his characters from the start (and Minalin from the start) in a plot in the first book that looks pretty straightforward on the surface. As the series evolves, both the characters and the plot increase in complexity and scope. As the characters have matured in terms of age, stature, knowledge, and experience, so has the scope of the plot. Every now and then, Terry peels off another layer of onion skin that is the plot and reveals a bit more of the complexity. After a few books, you look back and realize he’s been guiding you in this direction all along!
He’s one of the very few authors in the field whose ability to blend his plot and characters into a seamless whole that keeps you coming back for book after book, year after year. another Year, holding my breath waiting for the sequel with salivating cravings. desire. Putting down one of these books is a great exercise in self-discipline.
His writing skills have improved in every way since I read the first book, and I am amazed and pleased with his current rate of progress and ability.
