Pilgrim is a fairy tale cultivation novel, inspired by the Witcher story, the John Wick movie, the Inuyasha anime, the Preacher manga, and the Yojimbo movie.

This book is awesome! Due to its multi-episode narrative, I felt like I was listening to a series that I could stop and listen to at any time. The story is amazing and by far one of my favorites. The characters are unique and memorable, while the narration is clear and well executed. Overall it’s a great use of credit and I’m looking forward to the books coming out.

My first book by Harmon Cooper. Start with an interesting fight and end with a picnic. Overall, this is an interesting introduction to the half-human, half-demon protagonist. Stories may or may not work for some people. Guess we have to read the other books in the series to see how the characters develop and deal with the unique world around him.

Mikael Naramore did a great job with the narration.
