This book was very interesting and got me to the end. But beware of her others! I bought a lot of her books without reading the reviews on them, and some I couldn’t keep reading and others I gave to my club library without trying to read because of them. There are bad reviews. I cannot return them after that. Careful! Before reading her book, read all the reviews! Another Dorothea book that I find good and keep is “Lowland Summer”. Too disappointed! I found Erin Hildebrand’s beach series to be excellent, so I was delighted to find another author whose first book I read was well written, funny, and also brought tears to my eyes.
