Poisoned is a great book by author Jennifer Donnelly.

I love this story. It was beautifully written with many twists and turns that I didn’t expect. There is a great moral lesson that love and kindness are always stronger than fear. The story starts a bit slow but picks up after the first few chapters. I was reading Jennifer Donnelly’s other broken fairy tale, Step Sister, and noticed that she used the characters from that story in this story. So it seems to me that she’s setting up a bunch of these. Can’t wait for the next one!
