Predestined is the second love story in the Existence Series by author Abbi Glines.

Leif Montgomery, the high school’s mainstay quarterback and hottie, has gone missing. While the town was in a frenzy of anxiety, Pagan had a nervous breakdown for other reasons. Obviously well ‘ol Leif is not your ordinary teenage boy. He’s not even human. According to Death, Leif has no soul. The midfielder may have skipped town but he still shows up in Pagan’s dreams… uninvited.

Dank knew from the start that Leif wasn’t human. But he wasn’t worried about a simple lifeless creature. He realized he had made a serious mistake. Pagan’s soul was marked from birth as compensation, for a soul so dark that even Death would not come near it. Dank knows that saving Pagan’s soul won’t be easy but Pagan is his. He proved that he would risk Heaven to keep her. If Hell wants a piece of him too, then take it.

The second book in the series and the story changes speed and direction by enhancing things. In this book we have a dual POV, not only Pagan but also Dank, and I love him!

We discover exactly who Leif is and what his connection to Pagan is. There are a few shocking things in this book and I don’t think they’re over yet as I fully expect there will be more to come in the next book. I just hope Pagan and Dank will be happy together forever because I’m really worried about what will happen next.

Again, I really enjoyed this book as much as the first one, that’s why I gave it 5 stars and now I’m jumping right into book 3.
