Alice is informed that her husband has died, a month after he went to space. She’s formed a team of technical assassins that specialize in taking down New Origins, the corporation in charge of the station, if she doesn’t get an answer. Someone has to blame them – even if that means fighting an army of genetically engineered super soldiers.

Stealth is an elite among elites. This Marine wanted to be at the forefront of expansion into space, and now he is there. The hacker organization known as The Looking Glass is against them, trying to disrupt his team’s every advance, all they believe in.

My main complaint with this book is that the introduction says “a super soldier teaming up with a hacker” but the book then goes on through more than half the book with only a few scenes interspersed between the two sentences. completely separate matter. Perhaps future books will involve more of the “teaming” aspect, but as someone who picked up this book because I thought it would be a two-handed game, I was a bit disappointed. knowing that it’s just two separate storylines going on. which sometimes intersect.

Another problem I had with the book was that while the scenes with the super-soldier Stealth caught my attention and I enjoyed reading them, the chapters on hacking with Alice were the ones that I found invaluable. boring and sometimes has to be skimmed. In the end, I gave the book three stars because I liked about half the book, despite its flaws.
