Shayanne is a tomboy cowboy and a fucking adult, regardless of whether her father and brothers agree or not. She escapes their love and suffocating expectations to reach the farthest grasslands and find… Luke. And even though their family has worthy rivalry with the Hatfields and McCoys, she still wants him. She wants him to take over her and be her woman, because in her heart she already is.

Can Luke mediate the lasting anger between the two families to get his girl, and Shayanne might finally be an adult in her family’s eyes, able to choose a future with a man they don’t want her to have?

Although, this is the final installment of the Bennett boys trilogy, there is now an addition of the three Tannen boys as the sequel. So this is a semi cliff. I can’t figure out how the author would bring the equestrian expert, freelance traveller, Luke Bennett with goat soap at home and Shayanne Tannen to make pumpkin pie, but somehow this story works. I guess Shayanne will take Luke’s shorter trips and get to explore a bit of the world and still be the wife of a stay-at-home rancher. Good job. I hope we see more of the baby in the Tannen books in the future, because I bet the baby will end up being very spoiled by all these grumpy big cowboys.
